Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the rules for using the Nordax AI platform, including entity profile creation, API usage, and interaction with the public entity network. This AUP supplements our Terms of Service.

2. Entity Profile Standards

2.1 Accuracy

All entity profiles must represent real, legitimate entities. The information provided — including name, address, phone number, services, and description — must be accurate and current. Intentionally submitting false or misleading information is prohibited.

2.2 Authority

You may only create or claim entity profiles for entities you are authorized to represent. This includes entities you own, operate, or have been explicitly authorized to manage on the platform.

2.3 Duplicate Profiles

Creating duplicate profiles for the same entity to manipulate visibility scores or occupy search results is prohibited. If duplicate profiles are detected, we may merge or remove them.

3. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

3.1 Data Manipulation

• Creating fake or fictitious entity profiles
• Artificially inflating AI visibility scores
• Injecting deceptive structured data or schema markup
• Manipulating analytics or crawl activity metrics

3.2 Misuse of the Platform

• Using the platform for spam, phishing, or social engineering
• Uploading malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Using entity profiles to distribute illegal content or promote illegal activities
• Creating profiles that contain hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content

3.3 Technical Abuse

• Scraping or bulk-extracting data without API authorization
• Exceeding API rate limits or circumventing access controls
• Attempting to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the platform
• Using automated tools to create accounts or profiles in bulk without authorization

3.4 Impersonation

• Claiming to represent an entity you have no connection to
• Falsely representing verification status or tier level
• Using another organization's branding or identity without authorization

4. Unclaimed Profiles

The Nordax AI network may include unclaimed entity profiles created from publicly available business data. These profiles exist to provide comprehensive directory coverage. If you are the rightful representative of an unclaimed entity, you may claim and manage the profile through our verification process.

Attempting to claim an entity profile for an organization you do not represent is a violation of this AUP and may result in account termination.

5. API Usage Guidelines

• Respect rate limits for your subscription tier
• Do not share API keys or use them in client-side code
• Do not use the API to build a competing entity network or directory
• Cache responses appropriately to minimize unnecessary requests
• Include proper attribution when displaying entity data from our API

6. Content Standards

Entity profile content must not include:

• Explicit or adult content
• Content promoting violence, terrorism, or self-harm
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Personal information of individuals without their consent
• Promotional content unrelated to the entity's actual business

7. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate and take action against any suspected violations, including:

• Warning the account holder
• Temporarily suspending account access
• Removing or unpublishing entity profiles
• Permanently terminating accounts
• Reporting illegal activity to law enforcement

We may take enforcement action at our sole discretion and without prior notice for severe violations.

8. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to abuse@nordax.ai. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through our platform or via email.
