Nordax Files Patent for the Entity Trust Protocol (NETP)

Today we're announcing that Nordax Digital has filed a provisional patent application for the Nordax Entity Trust Protocol (NETP) - the verification, scoring, and trust-signaling framework at the core of every entity profile on Nordax AI.

The filing, Application No. 64/002,246, covers the methods, systems, and processes that power how we verify entities, compute trust signals, and deliver machine-readable identity data to AI systems, LLMs, and knowledge graphs.

What Is the Nordax Entity Trust Protocol?

NETP is the proprietary framework that governs how entity identity is verified, scored, and distributed across the Nordax AI platform. It encompasses:

• Multi-layer trust verification - A graduated verification model that combines email confirmation, DNS domain control validation, cross-reference corroboration, and infrastructure-level verification to produce a confidence gradient for each entity.
• AI Visibility Scoring - A composite scoring system that evaluates entities across five machine-verifiable dimensions: discoverability, schema completeness, consistency, machine accessibility, and trust signals.
• Truth-enforced badge delivery - An embeddable trust seal system where badge imagery is dynamically validated against the entity's current verification state and tier. Mismatched or expired badges automatically degrade to reflect the entity's true status - preventing stale or fraudulent trust signals.
• Structured identity distribution - Canonical JSON-LD endpoints, public API surfaces, and CDN-delivered trust artifacts that make verified entity data consumable by AI crawlers, search engines, and third-party systems.
